The truth is truth is a winner. Very delicious finger licking mouth smacking barbecue tons of flavors busting like a firecracker in your mouth. Very good flavor. Good taste brisket was moist. Soft tasty delicious inside and outside. Best of the barbecue atmosphere. Inside is awesome decoration. Excellent service very good Now don’t read just go and eat that lovely delicious barbecue you have to have that taste in your mouth. Enjoy.
Five stars all the way. The line alone tells you the barbecue is worth it, but what truly sets Truth apart is the hospitality. Every single team member was smiling and attentive. The moment we even glanced up, someone was there making sure we were good. Every protein was perfectly cooked, the sides are one of a kind, and the desserts are absolutely incredible. Worth the wait, worth the hype, and we’ll definitely be back.
Truth BBQ has to have some of the best ribs I’ve ever had! I enjoyed how tender they were and how easily the meat slid off the bone. The brisket was also juicy and tender! Turkey also paired perfectly well with the 3 meats plate. The sides were also great, I’m not usually a fan of potato salad but this one was super refreshing. The banana caramel slice cake was so delicious i’ll need to comeback for more too. The service was also incredible, we accidentally received sausage on our plate but the staff were kind enough to get us the correct item we had ordered. Not to mention, Dom was insanely kind, he made small talk and assisted us with anything we needed. Dom made our experience feel hospitable! This truly felt like a Texan meal
Went to Truth BBQ for the first time and can honestly say it’s the best BBQ I’ve ever had—hands down. I ordered the turkey breast, which was incredibly moist and flavorful, and of course had to try the brisket. The brisket was outstanding—perfectly smoked with the fat rendered just right. For sides, I had fresh bread, the tater tot casserole, and the Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were on a whole different level—I’ve never tasted vegetables that good before. To finish, I had the banana pudding, which ranks in my top two of all time—sweet, creamy, and the perfect ending to the meal. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Freddy took me back to see the pits. That guy made the whole experience that much better. I just wish there was BBQ like this back home in Utah. If you’re in Texas and looking for amazing BBQ with top-notch brisket, turkey, and sides, you absolutely need to stop at Truth BBQ.
The truth about this place?…… Is that “Truth BBQ” tests your patience before it rewards your soul. The wait? Real. Almost an hour deep. Pro tip: if you’ve got little ones, bring snacks, toys, or a small Broadway production to keep them entertained. But let me be clear, this isn’t a “why did we do this?” wait. This is a “thank God we stayed” wait. Once inside, it was straight to business. We ordered the pork ribs, brisket, homestyle sausages, and jalapeño sausages, and not a single bite missed. The brisket was juicy and rich, the ribs were porky perfection, and those jalapeño sausages brought just enough kick to remind you you’re alive. Now let’s talk sides, because sides matter. The macaroni was solid, the baked beans were flavorful, but the real MVP? The tater tot casserole. Crispy, comforting, and dangerously good. The kind of side that makes you ignore everyone at the table while you eat it. And just when you think it couldn’t get better, they have a full bar. I paired all that glorious meat with a whiskey, and let me tell you… it hit the spot like it was meant to be there all along. This place is bold, indulgent, and absolutely worth sharing. I’ll definitely be bringing my work crew here next time,because food this good shouldn’t be experienced alone. Too good not to share.
I had the brisket, ribs, sausage, beans, and potato salad. The brisket was just ok. I dont think it had enough bark and smoke flavor as I would like. It is good but maybe a 6/10 when comparing it to other bbq places. I had to use bbq sauce to make it better and you shouldn't need to do that. The ribs were great! Great flavor with out any extra sauce. Soft tangy, plenty of meat. One of the best ribs I have tried. Sausage was just as good as the ribs. I love all 3 types that they had! Potato salad seemed homemade, and great flavor Beans were good but not as sweet as I would like but still very good Overall ,I would come back for the ribs and sausage but I won't get the brisket again. I do expect these places to have the brisket as the number 1 food item but sometimes they are just better with pork.
We went for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He absolutely loves BBQ, and after looking at the options, I decided to give this place a try. I didn’t realize it gets that busy, so I definitely recommend arriving about 15 minutes before they open if you want to be among the first to order. It’s first come, first served, and we arrived right around opening time — it was a quick rush! I can honestly say the ribs, brisket, and pork ribs were delicious. We also tried several sides: the tater tot casserole, coleslaw, and potato salad. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned, and very flavorful. We ordered the pint size portions, and it was more than enough for us. It was totally worth it. I grabbed a beer while waiting in line because I thought they didn’t have a bar, but later I noticed they actually do. If you’re planning to have a stronger drink, you can order it after you place your food order — same with dessert. There are BBQ sauces available at the table, and they were really good. Overall, everything was great — you just need a little patience at the beginning to order and know what you want. They have high chairs for kids, and my daughter was able to eat comfortably. The bathrooms were clean and pleasant. We would definitely come back!
The BBQ worth visiting! Service and atmosphere: This is by far my favourite spot for BBQ craves. Clean, well organised, easy to order and fast service. Apparently this is 2nd best BBQ place in TX which explains long line and an hour wait time. Well worth it! Food: You must try it! Succulent melts in your mouth meats full of flavours. Pricing: You won't regret it.
